Sony KDL-32XBR9 Review

Sony KDL-32XBR9 Review: Another sleek black Sony Bravia KDL that excels in different levels. The 32″ XBR9 HDTV is an LCD TV with a flat panel. This is an ideal unit whether for office, bedroom, kitchen or home theater. It has a 40,000:1 contrast ratio which makes a better screen, more subtle colors and gives the deepest black in dark scenes. For a TV that weighs only 26.9 lb, it has a 1920 x 1080 display resolution with a 16:9 widescreen aspect ratio. An astounding picture quality in a package! It offers plenty of flexibility for adjusting, highly defined off-angle viewing and an improvised fluorescent backlight technique. A 120 Hz refresh rate makes its motion flow superb in producing clear-cut images in gaming, sports and fast-paced moves without a blur. Its seven HD inputs allow one to connect a Playstation, DVD players, and other HDMI-capable equipment without compressing its digital video and multichannel digital audio. Furthermore, cameras, USB-enabled MP3 players and computers can be directly connected for viewing or listening. Though it has no internet-powered TV guide, it has Yahoo widgets application that can provide information about the weather, stocks exchange, financial updates, videos, flickr photos and more! This unit exceeds energy star 3.0 requirements. It uses Light Sensor technology and Dynamic Backlight Control that automatically adjusts backlight intensity. Sony makes the best LCD TV and this is no exception. Its great features make it one of those 32″ TV must buys!
